I have just come across this 2007 clip of what must have been one of the last of the FGW HST’s with Valenta power units, as it screams past the bottom of my Garden with a Paddington to Carmarthen service in Spring 2007.This is filmed on MiniDV and 4:3 Format….

Last day of the GNER Eurostars plus some postal diverts including 87012 and Hertfordshire Railtours and HST Valentas plus some great 225 tones – also with permission includes Driver Mick Barstow final scheduled Eurostar runs…

GC HST leaving Northallerton on Railworks York- Newcastle Route. No GC logos on these power cars though….
